Roofing Consultants for London and the Home Counties
Prowle & Co LLP are roofing consultants based in Berkhamsted. We carry out roof surveys and roof defect investigations, and we replace roofs for homeowners. Based in Berkhamsted, we work throughout London and the Home Counties, including Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Whether you are buying a property, dealing with a roof leak, or planning a new roof, you get advice from someone who has worked on roofs for most of his career and who now inspects and reports on them professionally.
Roof Surveys and Roofing Advice
Our roof surveys give you a clear written report on the condition of the roof, what is wrong, why it is happening and what needs to be done. Services include:
- Roof surveys for house purchases
- Roof leak and water ingress investigations
- Roof condition surveys for homeowners and landlords
- Drone roof inspections for high and hard to reach roofs
- Inspections of new roofing work where the quality of the work is in question
- Chimney, leadwork, valley and gutter inspections
Roof Replacement
We also replace roofs, both pitched and flat, including tiled and slate roofs together with the associated leadwork, chimneys, gutters and roofline. We come from a third generation roofing family, and we concentrate on doing complete roof replacements properly rather than taking on small repairs.
Every roof replacement is priced from a site inspection, and you receive a written quotation setting out the work included.
Why Use a Roofing Consultant?
Many roof problems are misdiagnosed. A leak can be blamed on the tiles when the real cause is a failed valley, a poorly detailed abutment or condensation in the roof space. A roofing consultant looks at the whole roof, explains the cause, and gives you the information you need to make the right decision before money is spent.
Surveys and Roofing Work: Our Approach
Because we offer both surveys and roofing work, we are open about how the two fit together. A roof survey from us is our honest opinion on the condition of the roof, and you are free to use the report with any contractor you choose. If you would like us to quote for the work, we will, but there is never any obligation.
